Skip Barber Racing School
Even if you’re itching to go a couple hundred miles per hour in a race car, you certainly don’t want some guys who just got in the business teaching you. Better to put your life in the capable hands of a “Best Of” racing school like the Skip Barber Racing School. Skip and the gang have been teaching people to race since 1975, and their track record is stellar. Barber alumni have won every major U.S. auto racing championship, from NASCAR’s Nextel Cup to the Indy 500. In addition to the pedigree of its alumni, the Barber School is held at more than 20 of the most prestigious race tracks in North America, so you can get schooled at some of racing’s most hallowed grounds. The Barber School conducts a variety of programs, from its comprehensive racing and driving schools to customized corporate programs. It also boasts the largest fleet in the business, with 120 race cars and more than 75 passenger/street cars including top-of-the-line models from BMW, Mazda and Porsche.
