Nike SQ Sumo2
A monster drive can impress the golf gallery but it does little to improve your handicap if you can’t control it. Enter the new Nike SQ Sumo² and its unique square clubhead that’s designed to forgive even the most wicked slices and hooks in golf. Nike’s Sumo² stands for “Super Moment of Inertia (MOI) Squared.” MOI essentially is a clubhead’s ability to resist twisting on off-center hits. The Sumo² delivers an extremely high MOI that keeps the clubface straighter at impact with off-center hits, achieving truer drives at greater distances. The club’s Max Back CG moves the center of gravity further back and low in the clubhead to create ideal launch conditions. A stock Diamana shaft by Mitsubishi Rayon effectively blends power and stability, and the available VS Proto 65 Graphite shaft promotes a lower launch angle with a slightly slower spin rate. Either way, this “Best Of” driver produces power drives that match up with other top clubs while offering the superior forgiving qualities to make it a favorite among mid- to high-handicappers who need a little help to improve their golf game.
After thorough independent research, we selected the Nike SQ Sumo2 as a 3LUXE "Best Of", to see our other two Driver selections visit our Driver Overview.
