Nikon D2Xs Digital SLR Camera
"I've got a Nikon camera, I love to take a photograph…" so sang Paul Simon in his ode to photography, "Kodachrome." For many, the Nikon name is synonymous with photography. That's in part because, as they claim, more professional photographers user Nikon 35 mm cameras, lenses and accessories than all the other brands combined. Nikon's "Best Of" D2Xs features a 12.4 megapixel sensor and offers a most impressive five-frames-per-second shooting. You can even capture up to 8 frames per second by choosing the 6.8 megapixel resolution. If your photographic interests require rapid-fire shooting at sporting events or out in nature, then this speed demon won't slow you down. You can also select a black-and-white capture mode if you're looking for some moody images, ala Ansel Adams. You can also trim your shots in camera saving time on the post-production end. Nikon remains the only major optical company that still manufactures its own lenses, a craft that is every bit as much art as it is science. Kind of like photography itself. This all-around, great digital SLR camera may very well have you singing, too.
After thorough independent research, we selected the Nikon D2Xs Digital SLR Camera as a 3LUXE "Best Of", to see our other two Digital SLR selections visit our Digital SLR Overview.
