What about power in South America? I will be travelling soon. Do I need a converter there as well? Will the Auto Dual Wattage International Converter Set meet my need. This site http://www.foreignelectricityconverter.com seems to say yes, I need a conveter, but looking for more advice.

Depending on where in South America you are traveling you will need a power converter. Even if the country your traveling in uses 120V, like the US, you may still need an adapter plug. Another good reference map is on Telenet World Standards. I would recommenced buying a product like Eagle Creek's Auto Dual Wattage International Converter Set 9above), that way no matter where you find yourself, your converter and adapter needs will be covered.
